Bauna Pension Scheme

The scheme aims to provide financial support to individuals suffering from dwarfism to help them meet their basic needs and improve their quality of life. Under this scheme, a monthly pension is provided to persons above 21 years of age whose height is less than 4 feet.

Eligibility

(i) Height of the applicant should be 04 feet or less than 04 feet.
(ii) Age limit of the applicant should be 21 years or more.
(iii) There is no restriction on monthly income limit under the scheme.

Application Process

Applicants can apply online through the Department’s pension portal (https://ssp.uk.gov.in), the Umang mobile app, or the Apni Sarkar portal (https://eservices.uk.gov.in).

Documents Required

(i) Copy of family register issued by VPDO(Village Panchayat Development Officer) for applicants from rural areas or copy of ration card for applicants from urban areas.
(ii) Consent letter issued by Assistant Social Welfare Officer after verification regarding the height of the applicant.
(iii) Height certificate (height should be 04 feet or less than 04 feet) issued by Medical Officer.
(iv) Certified photo of the applicant (from Pradhan/VPDO/Sabhashad/Councillor).
(v) Photocopy of CBS bank account passbook.
(vi) Photocopy of Aadhar card.
