Industrial Training Institute

Establishment of Government Industrial Training Institutes- To provide technical education to the poor students of scheduled caste, the following industrial training institutes have been established by the department.

1- Government Industrial Training Institute, Nainital – Government has given approval to 7 trades for providing technical education to the students in this institute. In which the approved capacity is 16 per trade and admissions can be made including 30% supernumeraries. At present, training is being provided in this institute in trades like electrician, motor mechanic, fitter, Hindi stenographer and radio TV.

2- Government Industrial Training Institute, Maldhan Chaud, Nainital- Government has given approval to 3 trades for providing technical education to the students in this institute.
Its approved capacity is 16 per trade and admissions can be made including 30% supernumeraries. At present, Electrical, Fitter and Copa trades are being run in this institute.

3- Government Industrial Training Institute, Bageshwar- Government has given approval to 3 trades for providing technical education to the students in this institute.
Its approved capacity is 16 per trade and admissions can be made including 30% supernumeraries. At present, Electrical, Fitter and Copa trades are being run in this institute.
