PM-Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme

1. PM-YASHVI: Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC, EBC and DNT Students –
Under this scheme, scholarship is provided to students studying in class 9-10 as per the following criteria:

Eligibility-
• The student should be studying as an institutional student in a recognized school run in the state.
• The student must have passed the class in the previous year.
• The student should not be receiving any other type of scholarship.
• The annual income of the student’s parents/guardians should be up to Rs.2,50,000/-.
• Students have to apply for scholarship in their own school.

2. PM-YASHVI: Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC, EBC and DNT Students:
Under this scheme, scholarships are provided to students studying in classes after tenth as per the following criteria:

Eligibility
• A resident student of Uttarakhand state should be studying as an institutional student in a recognized university/technical/medical/management institute operating in the state or outside the state.
• The student must have passed the class in the previous year.
• The student should not have done any professional course before the current course.
• The student should not be receiving any other type of scholarship.
• Scholarship will be admissible to those students whose parents/guardians have annual income up to Rs. 2,50,000/-.
• Students have to apply for scholarship in their own institute.
• In case of being eligible for scholarship, there is a provision for the concerned District Social Welfare Officer to transfer the amount of scholarship and fee to the CBS account of a nationalized bank operated in the name of the concerned student.
• This scholarship is provided under the rules laid down by the Government of India.
Scholarships are provided to students of backward castes studying in post-tenth classes as per the following rates and norms:- (effective from 01.07.2011)

Scholarships for post-matriculation classes for SC students are given on the basis of the following rates and norms:-
